I don't like to give bad reviews for a product. Some people have put a lot of effort into creating it. The only reason I will do it in this case is that some others have tried to create a much better product and that should be rewarded. Let me explain:
Is the sonoff dual r3 a bad product? Answer: Absolutely not. It is a decent product and does its job well. If you use it on its own, using the official app, you won't have a big problem. I use it to open and close shutters through HomeAssistant. This brings me to the first issue, the integration with HomeAssistant. To make the integration work, you need to input the username and password of the eWelink app into an external module of HomeAssistant and it needs to be always online. Call me strange, but I don't feel comfortable with that for many reasons. Is there any other problem? Yes, it is huge and doesn't fit in any European box. How big is it? Look at the photo I attached comparing it to the Shelly 2.5, which is by far the best product in this category. What can we do, the guys at Shelly did a great job and that's the truth.
In my opinion, no regular user should choose it over the Shelly 2.5. The one-time difference of 10-15€ is very small for what you will ultimately get in your hands. For the rest of the users (those who want to play with gadgets), I have the following to say: 1. It easily supports esphome, which completely changes it at the software level and frees it from the sonoff's eWelink. After that, it improves significantly at the software level, but still falls short of the Shelly. 2. The process is not something special, but it's not for a user who doesn't have the willingness to get involved a bit. I have uploaded the yaml config file for esphome here for anyone interested: https://github.com/gmeles/dualr3_esphome/blob/main/sonoff_dual.yaml 3. Its advantages over the Shelly are that it has the new esp32 module, which has Bluetooth and more GPIO. I'm not sure who will make use of these, but it's not bad to have them.
In conclusion, it is a good device, but it has a rival in an excellent product with a standard implementation. The decisions are yours

  I bought it for connecting with blinds. It doesn't fit in any of the new black boxes or of course in the old blue ones. It's very bulky, it's only for external use. In the end, I installed the Shelly 2.5, which is half the size and much better in functionality.

  Very good functionality. I applied it to a home installation box for controlling the electric roller. Many operating options (direct opening-closing of the roller) either individually as long as you press the switch or through the application. It has been working without any problems for a year now.
