This author introduced me to the world of books and I gained a new hobby. I started with "Among Idiots" and then immediately read "Among Obstacles". I'll get to the point. If you want to motivate yourself to do new things and take immediate action on something you've wanted to do for a while, buy it without a second thought. It speaks in a straightforward manner and doesn't sugarcoat things, it tells you exactly how things are, and that challenges you. It may repeat itself in several points, but I suppose the author does this to help you internalize certain important things. It is easy to read, his writing doesn't tire you, and you don't need to read a sentence more than once to understand what he's saying. After finishing it, I started thinking about things I always wanted to do and planning them. That is, after all, the purpose of the book. I would easily buy it as a gift for someone because it truly is a gift, and of course, I would easily read it again. I will definitely buy more books by Thomas Erikson.
