Considering the price, you don't expect something sturdy. In the one month we've been using it (family of 5), it works. Time will tell. Anyway, the fact that you don't touch the bin is very good. I wish it was bigger because it fills up with 4-5 diapers! But if you think about it, generally, you empty a bathroom trash can once a day, so this one covers you!
