We will talk about Artificial Intelligence in arts, theoretical and applied sciences, industry and education, as well as in a plethora of other fields of knowledge and action. We will provide many technical and non-technical references, both for the computer scientist and the everyday reader, outlining an amazing horizon that opens up with the occasion of Artificial Intelligence.
In the book - through a discreet demythologization - we will ground the expectations regarding artificial intelligence, without taking away anything from our enthusiasm for the achievements of the field. Also, we will weaken the irrational fears and have fun with the highly advertised - and particularly distorted - stories about intelligent machines in the present and the future.

In the last chapters, we will try to capture the current state of affairs in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Greece and the world today, a today that lays the foundations for an exciting tomorrow in terms of politics, society, and technology. In this depiction, we will propose ways for each one of us, experts and non-experts, to take a position and be able to co-shape Artificial Intelligence in the coming years in a human-centered and collectively beneficial way, away from conspiracy theories and closed communities.

Above all, through this book, we will highlight the human being - in all its brilliance and darkness - in the background but also in the foreground of intelligent systems. Moreover, we will indicate how and why the search for Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally a search in the depths of humanity, humaneness, and humanity itself.
