I won't bother with many details, it's an amazing power supply, silent, more than enough even for 4090 and 7800x3d, maybe the best series from Corsair overall. And a bonus of 10 years warranty.
The power supply is not atx 3.0 ready, so for the rtx 4000 series you will have to get the 12+4 cable yourself.
Regarding the issue with the 2 cables, they clearly state that each pcie 8 pin cable supports at least 288 watts, but the cards recognize 150w on the 8 pin and 75w on the 6 pin. With the dual connection, only an 8+6 connection is allowed, NOT 8+8 because there is a risk of the cable burning. For triple cards, the purchase of a type 4 pcie 6+2 cable from Corsair is necessary. The power supply has ports for 3 cables, but for some reason, it has 3 cpu cables instead of 3 pcie cables. Personally, I haven't seen a motherboard with triple 8 pin, but you will be ready for the i9 of the 15th generation... The cpu cables are not exactly the same as the pcie ones and their use in graphics cards is prohibited
Good PSU but the model they sent me had only 2 PCIe cables while I needed 3 for the RTX 40 series and beyond.
Good power supply, I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had bought a Thermaltake 1500W 10 years ago and that one even came with a case for the cables. The fan still hasn't worked at all, so it is extremely quiet and reliable.
Simply the best PSU I have ever purchased (there is also a new version from Corsair that includes some other good features, but this PSU is top-notch as well)
The RMx 2021 series from Corsair has by far the best power supplies of recent years.

This specific power supply is considered TOP tier in power supply reviews. It is more expensive than its competitors, but as soon as you hold it, you realize that it is very high-quality.
Positives +: It is sturdy, silent, has a variety of connections, is efficient, and has a 10-year warranty.
Negatives -: The cables... The power supply comes with only 2 PCIe Dual cables, so if you connect both to the graphics card, the 2 PCIe daisy chains will hang, greatly affecting the appearance if you can't hide them somehow. Also, if you have a graphics card that requires more than 300W and has 3 power ports, you will need to buy an additional PCIe cable. In terms of cable quality, they are bulky, rigid, and inflexible, but at least they are not short, so that's something. It's as if Corsair intentionally does this to force you to buy their cable kits.
For me, it's 4 stars because I find it unacceptable to have such cables when you pay 150 euros +
The PSU is excellent, quiet, and efficient. I don't have an opinion on its durability over time because I've only had it for a short period.
Quality power supply that still maintains a high price, even though it does not include the PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR 600W for the NVidia RTX40 series, leaving you either having to buy the corresponding Corsair cable separately or sticking with AMD or the NVidia RTX30 series. With these watts, it can even support a 4090, and not including an extra cable might turn some people away. More specific/technical information can easily be found on the web, but it is definitely a high-quality power supply that rarely needs to use its built-in fan (tested for 1 month with 13900k on Z790 and 3090).

I use it with a GIGABYTE AERO RTX 4090 OC and it really does its job! The build quality is very good, cable management is sometimes a bit difficult but nothing major. Overall, it's one of the best 1000w PSUs available and has excellent quality.
I upgraded from a 7-year-old CX550M 550W + GTX 1060 3GB to this one as it couldn't handle (obviously) the new card I installed, the Palit RTX 2080, and the computer would shut down after 40-60 minutes of playing PUBG.
Installing it in the Lian Li O-11 Dynamic was very easy. It was done very quickly, with a coffee and some company (that's how easy it was) in 30 minutes. If you don't have 1-2 hard drives like me, it takes half the time as we're talking about 3 fewer cables and MUCH easier cable management.
The computer now runs smoothly and in the coming weeks, I will test it to evaluate its overall stability.
Take a photo of the warranty with your phone and keep a backup copy everywhere because it comes with a 10-year warranty. I will come back to complete the evaluation for anything new.
It's worth its money. Cable management can be a bit tricky but nothing too difficult. For me, the result is great but that's purely subjective. It was installed in a Deepcool CK560 case.
As expected from the RMX series, the power supply performs well, running a 7900XTX at 450W and a 7950X at 230W with no issues. The only downside is that the 8-pin EPS cables are too close together for a large case like the 7000D, so you have to make straight connections instead of right angles. Additionally, the capacitors on the cables make the points with the connectors stiff. The 24-pin cable is long enough to reach the cable bar without needing a 90-degree adapter.
The 4 stars because it contained a different number of cables (2 PCIe instead of 3) than what is stated on Corsair's official page.
Corsair power supply owner since 2008, and I haven't had a single issue (although please note that they are machines and can wear out).
2. This particular power supply serves a system with an Intel I5 13900K, RTX 4090, Z790 DDR4 ATX, 4xDDR4 3600, 360mm cooler with 3xFANS and 2 FANs all RGB, 3 nvme, 2 SATA. If I'm not mistaken, I should be at 80-90% workload in 95% system operation. Many times I also charge my laptop (98 watts), so I definitely reach 90% workload.
Pros:
- Very quiet
- Full modular
- It has well-known power supply specifications, so you won't have issues with most cases
- 10-year warranty
- Just look at how many connectors I used, so I don't think you'll run out even with dual RTX 4090s
Cons:
- The cables seem a bit short, and I've done mediocre cable management, so you'll need cable extenders
- I believe that 1000 watts is now the baseline for powerful machines, so I would recommend going for a higher wattage
- I think it takes a bit of pressure to start up, but generally all machines have a boot sequence, but I'm noting it because as you can see, I have a heavy workload.
Overall, I've been satisfied with Corsair for so many years. Of course, an electrical expert might say "be careful because it doesn't have X and Y might happen," but ask a specialist (usually the alternative is Seasonic as the top power supply). I've never had issues with power outages or sudden system shutdowns. I recommend it for upgrades, monster systems, or backups, but with reservations.
The fan is so quiet, I couldn't tell if it was even working. It feels like I have a laptop in front of me! The build quality is great, the cables are a bit stiff but that's okay, you only have to deal with them once. And a 10-year warranty!

The cables are indeed slightly stiff, but I had no difficulty with them in the ATX case I installed, so I overlook it.
In smaller cases, there may be an issue, and since it is mentioned in the comments, it is likely to be so.

Purchased on sale from P. about 2 months ago. Now I finally had time to install it. Very good, high-quality and quiet power supply. Time will tell. Indeed, the cables are a bit stiff and some may have difficulty with cable management. It's my first time going with Corsair. It replaced an Enermax Galaxy 850w DXX purchased way back in 2007!!!! (I could say a lot about that power supply, but it's really outdated) which has taken a beating, I'll just use it elsewhere due to its age.
The fan never opens in my case, and if it does, it doesn't make much noise... very good. I had a Corsair power supply before and it lasted 10 years, the motherboard gave up before it did, so I gave it to someone else and it still works fine with the other PSU. So I trust that this power supply will turn off after me. The only "problem" I had was that I didn't know which cable to plug in because I never had a modular PSU.
Exceptional gold and modular power supply. In a PC with integrated fans, it has never turned on. If you are interested in aesthetics and effective cable management, then you will probably need the Corsair kit with the most flexible cables. It is recommended and if it is also on offer, then blindly go for it.
The 24-pin cable is slightly thicker than that of the RM850x and overall the power supply is slightly larger than the RM850x. This is for those who don't have much space.
It's impeccable and you can tell from the first time you see it in action. It's completely silent as the fan only operates occasionally when it heats up or is under full load. It's very durable and high-quality. The cables may be a bit stiff, but it's not a big issue as it doesn't cause much trouble with cable management. However, at this price point, you may need to consider if you really need it. Also, be careful as the cables are wrapped in a mesh that makes them bulkier and may cause some problems with certain cases. Overall, I'm completely satisfied.
I don't need to say much about this company, it speaks for itself in the computer field. It's very good at constructing internal electronic components at a fair price. As for any potential blackouts, it didn't experience any (thank goodness), but it's reliable and very cost-effective in its performance.
My main solution to COIL Whine is very well made, but has nothing to do with the old Corsair ones I had, which had more flexible cables and a suitcase with all the beautifully made ones. Just opening 170 euros and seeing a power supply thrown away with the cables in a nylon bag is disappointing. Also, it does not have the USB sensor that the i series had and displayed information.
Corsair for always in power supplies. The previous one lasted 12 years and didn't even burn out in the end. It just made noise for about six months and I decided to replace it. This one solved my hands with cable management.
I connected it "just fine", the cables were hard and I struggled for about 2 hours to connect everything and put them the way I wanted. Also, the fan doesn't work unless the power supply load goes up to 40%~ to be quiet and good, but I've had it for almost 2 weeks now and especially the first few days it smelled like plastic all over the room and even if I leave it on for half an hour without forcing the fan to work, it starts to smell... You can't control the fan in any way... The power supply, however, works just fine and hasn't presented any other issues so far. Anyway, if I could go back, I would get the coolermaster equivalent that was 40 euros cheaper.
Update: after a few weeks, it stopped smelling, but it was really annoying whenever the smell hit me in the face.
Impeccable and high-quality. Only time will tell. It did test my patience until I managed to twist the cables... Of course, the custom corsair cables are both practical and beautiful. As for the packaging, installation was quite difficult and the visual result was rather unsightly. But it's okay.
Regarding the quality of this particular power supply, I don't have much to say - everyone knows it's one of the best power supplies out there. The updated 2021 version offers some minor improvements compared to previous versions, such as the fan and how it operates in standby mode, etc.
It's small and fits easily in the box with the cables.
However, a major drawback that made me deduct one star (and almost another one) is the cables it comes with. They are ugly, stiff cables with their capacitors located near the ends, making routing, especially for the 24-pin, very difficult and the aesthetic result terrible.
In the photo, you can see the ugly result with the cables that come with the power supply and the result with Corsair's aftermarket cables (CP-8920215).
If you have a case with a side window, you'll probably need to buy Corsair's aftermarket cables unless you can tolerate the visual result of the cables that come with the power supply.
I don't have a huge amount of experience with power supplies, but the Corsair CX600 I had started giving me problems after 7-8 years, so I decided to switch to this one, and the efficiency is indeed better. The only downside is that the fan only kicks in at a certain temperature, so it runs a bit hotter than the CX600 I had.
I had exactly the same model but the 2015 version, very good power supply case. Completely satisfied.
