I was disappointed compared to the exact same first-generation kettle that I had and used daily for many years until the plastic cracked due to normal wear and tear. This particular new kettle has some basic problems. Firstly, the thermostat broke very quickly, resulting in it not turning off by itself after reaching the boiling point, which is dangerous. Additionally, the plastic water level indicator is very dark, making it impossible to see the level. Finally, the water filling lid has come off many times on its own, both the external plastic and the metal axis from its position (it is a simple axis without a stop screw on one side, so with the opening and closing of the lid, it moves on its own and comes off). In general, I am a person who takes great care and does not misuse it.
