This book was written with the aim of providing ophthalmology specialists with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge on topics related to Refraction. However, it is also addressed to those already practicing ophthalmology, who will find in it a detailed and clear description of the various techniques of refractive examination. At the beginning of the book, only the absolutely necessary introductory concepts of Optics are developed; then the objective and subjective refractive examination are analyzed, and finally, the special chapters follow with the refractive abnormalities and their clinical management.
