It is Black & Decker, which means it is not Chinese, but it is also not Makita. It comes in a nice little suitcase with three different heads, which, however, need to be removed in order to place the tool in the suitcase. It really does the job in places where you wouldn't even think of using sandpaper or a wheel, etc. Of course, the tapes it uses with dimensions 451X13 are exclusively from Black & Decker and hard to find in local stores, but even online they are not available in many shops and in all grips
