I bought this particular brand for my child, being very satisfied myself with other shoes from the company. The strap in the front is tight, resulting in a thin sole easily coming forward while walking. It needs proper adjustment on the Velcro each time (it probably "opens" without coming off) in order to tighten it enough but not too much, something a child won't do. Perhaps a sandal with a wider strap in the front would have been a better choice for us.

I bought them mainly for my work (several hours of standing without much movement and a lot of heat) because my feet were constantly swollen and painful...
