It's really perfect! I got the 82 model, it's very powerful but for close shots and on rocks the size and power are amazing. In a hide and for long shots, it will let you down... I don't know if a second rubber and a 6.75 needle would make a difference. It's very good overall and 100% accurate. Besides, if you get a larger size for hiding, it won't work for close-range shooting. A spearfishing gun for all tasks doesn't work... maybe if I were to buy again after 2 years of use, I would get the 90 model for my next purchase
I can't understand some people who say they have difficulty loading it! Excellent choice at all levels, I highly recommend it!
I took the initiative to write my review because I see many complaining about how difficult it is to load..
To load a spear gun, you need experience to understand how to position your body and use it as a lever to pull with more force. If you can't do it, it's not the spear gun's fault, it's yours. You can watch videos and train yourself, and soon you will succeed and even have fun.
The 19mm bands on a 26-inch gun for a beginner may be a challenging track, but not something so terrible.
I have seen a 65kg untrained person loading it easily and not changing it. So relax a bit with the bands, wear a wetsuit with a chest pad to avoid pain, or cut a flipper and put it on every time you load.
It is my first purchase of this particular speargun. I will agree that the rubber bands are excessively hard. Even for loading at the first notch, it requires a lot of strength. I managed to load it, but due to the difficult loading, I only make a few shots. The loading pad hurts a lot without a wetsuit.
Quite powerful and accurate shot.
As a beginner, I bought the Pathos Pro 75.. I highly recommend it, the gun simply can't be beat.. accurate and very powerful tool, comfortable grip and overall it has very good materials on it.. I believe it is perfectly tuned and doesn't need any modifications..
My first spear gun,
very satisfied,
at first it seems somewhat difficult to load, especially in the rear position and without something on the chest (wetsuit, pad, etc.), but after a few times I do it easily.
good grip, good trigger, I would just like a slightly more positive buoyancy
very good price
I definitely recommend it for beginners
Very satisfied with the fishing I do. Sturdy and accurate. I have the 82 model.
The disadvantage is the buttplate, which if you don't have slippers or wear a protective suit, will scratch your chest and abs. Also, the loading mechanism requires strong arms, especially the second notch, which if not properly secured, can say goodbye to your finger. I filed down the second notch a bit to insert the spear deeper and saved myself. It also lacks a bit in long-range shooting. Okay, the length is not ideal, but targeting anything over 2, 2.5 meters is difficult, especially with faster and more elusive fish like saragos.
I have had it for over 3 years.
I have used mares, Cressi. But this one suits me incredibly well in water movement.
I have hit it a lot and it hasn't suffered anything, the mechanism is still perfect, the only thing I changed because it wasn't good was the closed head, I put an open one and I can even spearfish with it in deep waters.
Nice looking spear gun, with a harpoon-style design, but USELESS for now, as it does not come with a spear. Even more so for those who don't have strong muscles. It needs bands, which will cost extra, for the gun, and I hope it doesn't negatively affect it. Bad impression for me as a beginner. I bought the 75 model.
Very good spear gun for someone who has recently started but also for beaches with shallow waters, it is very stable and has a very good aim, the only downside is that it hurts a lot in the armament, an easy solution is to put a piece of plastic on top and tape it so that it does not come off in order to soften it, for example, I comfortably arm it with a rubber band 4cm smaller
I have been fishing with the Pathos 82pro since the first model came out with the reverse trigger mechanism. I go to the sea at least once a week. Over the years, all the color has faded, but the gun and trigger have not suffered anything... Incredibly lightweight, accurate, and it doesn't get damaged. For so many years, I only change the bands. If anything ever happens to it, I will buy the same one again. All the other guns have been left on the shelf.
Very good spear gun, it will never betray you, reliable, be careful when loading it always wear gloves because if the metal bell comes off, goodbye finger
Overrated for its price. The plastic handle and sole are of poor quality, as if they were made of recycled plastic. Otherwise, it is satisfactory. Accurate and powerful. Even with the sole behind the handle, the assembly on the second step is not easy with the 19mm rubber it comes with when you purchase it, compared to the 75mm one I got. The safety requires some initial work and the mechanical rope grab moves left and right, apart from up and down, meaning it shakes. Personally, I would recommend the 75mm to be set with 2 thinner rubber bands and the bell, which is of very good construction, to be 3 millimeters wider in length, it's fine.
Just get it and go. It is an amazing spear gun, it is the second one I buy and I am very satisfied. It is really worth it.
Affordable straightener. Good maneuverability without tangling. Negative point is the short cord, had to file the plastic.
You just take it and go... If you don't mess with mom's set, it's the ideal solution for shallow waters. -Referring to the pro 100-
First time trying Pathos, its capabilities are incredible, I believe it's the best weapon so far compared to the previous ones I had, accurate, the handle feels like it was designed for my hand, lightweight in the water and easy to move around, very durable construction materials, I'm thinking of getting it in a longer length, the reel is sold separately by the company. It's a reliable weapon and worth every last euro, I highly recommend it.
First dive and I immediately realized the incredible capabilities of this very good buoyancy, its power will amaze you incredibly strong and on the first ladder, accuracy 100% (tested). As for the size, you should know that it also comes in 75, 90, I don't remember for more. Personally, I would give a lot more money for this weapon because it's worth it.
Very good spear gun, ideal for shallow and deep hunting, very powerful, worth it and more for its price.
A very good spear gun, accurate, very convenient size for diving and searching, but for very narrow rocks, a 70cm one would do the job better. Powerful, although the rubber bands naturally need to be changed depending on the distance and speed of the targets we hunt. I recommend it for patience and searching, but not for very confined spaces.
Very good spear gun with impressive capabilities in all types of fishing. For me, it is the perfect balance for searching and holes, due to its reverse mechanism it is like an 85 conventional. The friend I dive with has the 90 which is better for long distances but somewhat difficult to maneuver when changing direction. I highly recommend it.
Perhaps one of the best, most versatile weapons on the market. The Pathos pro 82 is the tool for all tasks (almost). Its length, combined with the reverse mechanism, gives the weapon flexibility in searching without depriving you of the ability for a medium-range shot, if the opportunity arises. The F19 rubber bands it has provide enough power for experienced users and a new experience for new users, as the length of the weapon does not hinder easy arming. The weapon is not suitable for very long shots without a second rubber band, due to the relatively short length of the barrel. The only disadvantage one may find is the thickness of the barrel, which is 6.5mm, which in my opinion, maybe a 6.75 would suit it better. Attention to new buyers, most of the photos show the reel, which is sold separately.

The wild beast, the 19mm speargun, does not hold back.
