It is a pretty good extender. It connects very easily through its application (mercusys). It has good speeds. It does what it promises. It is quite value for money. I highly recommend it!
Very good product. I placed it in a neighboring apartment (attached) with 5 rooms in between (from the router) and it works with a strong signal.
It is good to place it somewhere in the middle distance, from where the router is, to the point you are interested in. Stable speed, I haven't seen many disconnections so far (minimal ones coming from the router not the extender).
I placed it directly in the point I am interested in because I have a TV Box and I wanted the best signal (TV box connected with extender not router) and fortunately it works very well without any glitches.
Of course I would recommend it, with its very low price it is a great value for money.
For the money, it is quite good, stable connection with good speed which is I believe the main point.
3 months of operation and so far no disconnections, which is what I wanted. An old TPLINK used to freeze on me every day!
It extends the wifi 2.4GHz & 5GHz inside the house from the simple VDSL modem and also provides a LAN.
Be sure to set a static IP for it so that the modem does not have difficulty.
Excellent product, it does exactly what it's supposed to do! It connects quickly and easily. It was installed in a 110sqm house, right in the middle of the socket because the signal didn't reach the other half. Performance is 75mbps out of 200 optical
I have installed it in a security system because I was suffering from disconnections (due to the density of the 2.4 GHz networks around) and I was simply saved.
Very convenient. I have internet throughout the house while before I had a problem in the remote rooms. It reconnects immediately in case of interruption.
It does its job very satisfactorily. Reconnects immediately if disconnected due to power outage for example. Good signal.
Very easy installation, very good range for my space and the internet now goes smoothly in every corner of the house. At 17.5 euros that I bought it, it's the best.
Don't doubt if it will cover you, just make sure to place it in the right spot. Calculate approximately in the middle of the house in relation to where you have placed your router.
Two years of operation and still works like the first day, unlike products from another well-known Chinese brand.
Good evening. I set it up today, it is small with 2 antennas on the right and left. It has an Ethernet port at the bottom. I was concerned about the range as I am 2 apartment buildings away (connected of course) and I get a green light. This means that the distance between the router and the extender is close. The speed is fast without any disconnects. It is worth the money. If you have any questions, ask me
I placed it in a room far from the router with a wall and the room's door in between, so I can't comment on its range since I have it relatively close to the router. However, the speeds it brings are disappointing. Specifically, my computer on its own reaches the maximum speed of my 200mbps line, while the extender on the 5hz band consistently reaches 160mbps with a steady 40mbps loss, while the company advertises 1200mbps and you think it has at least 200... The main reason I bought it was to make my wifi as stable as possible because I had some disconnections from my computer, which it solved, so for that purpose it works great. I will try it at greater distances and will come back here
Very easy installation (with WPS) and extremely good range. There is also a related application for settings from the mobile.
If I could give it 6 stars in the review, I would...
I have tried over 3 different devices with a value double or triple the price of this one and the result was bad...
Just get this one to save yourself without much fuss...!!!
I received it and immediately installed it on Debian distributions.... I emphasize that I am on an island and I have a mifi router with Vodafone sim and I purchase a monthly data package.
The installation was very easy and I was amazed by the range and speed.... I get around 170 with ethernet and 100-120 with wifi.... Detail: I have the router outside the house in a closed box.... Incredible product and I highly recommend it.
I bought it two years ago and unfortunately it did not prove to be good. Within the two years it stopped synchronizing with all routers, making it essentially useless.
Incredible Extender, I placed it on the ground floor and I can reach the upper floor with many obstacles, something I didn't expect it to catch without losses, I was really surprised.
At a distance of two meters without obstacles from the modem-router which provides 300mbps wifi speed, this only gives 160mbps. All the expected settings were made through the mercusys application but the speed did not increase at all. Maybe I have high expectations for the price but I do not understand the 1200mbps it advertises.
Much better than similar products from other companies. It maintains a stable connection without drops, has good range and transmission. Easy to install. I had it at home to extend the router's signal, and now I bought a second one to extend the signal from a router that I have at a distance of 25 meters. (Ideal conditions) Very reliable even there (obviously did not reach maximum speed but 40% of it is good)
Simply perfect!!! It gives exactly as much as it receives from the router without any losses inside the house. I have bought one and will buy a second one for full coverage of all areas of the house and the balcony.
The router is located across from my house in a souvlaki restaurant. The distance is definitely 30-40 meters. I set it up on my balcony where I get a pretty good signal from the "neighbor". Then I brought the extender into the room and I am really amazed at how well it picks up (no issues at all with speed and no interruptions at the moment)
The router is on the upper floor with a 50 mbps connection, so this extender also gives me 50 mbps throughout the entire 100 square meter house. Worth it!
I am really impressed by the repeater, at a reasonable distance from the router with walls in between it caught a strong signal and maintained speed without drops. On 5g I get 200mbps as much as the router gives me wired to the computer. As a first impression, I highly recommend it. I am waiting to see over time if I will have disconnections like the repeater I replaced
It is worth the money and more (around 20€), as it provides speeds that are almost the same as those provided by the provider, at least 40%, in a 110m2 house. It should be noted that I am talking about optical fiber at 200mbps, and even in the most remote and "difficult" area from walls, it provides no less than 80mbps, having activated a static IP and only the 5 MHz frequency from the extender.
In a 100m2 house there is no point that is not covered by at least half the speed of the one next to the router
Perfect. It took me about a quarter to figure out how to connect it, but in the end, everything is fine. The router is located on the lower floor and yet, from having zero bars, now it is full. Signal is excellent.
It's worth every euro!
The use over time will show, but so far:
- Very easy installation through its application.
- Allows you to see which devices are connected and their range.
- I haven't seen any loss of internet speed.
For the installation, access to the site was not working, so I installed the application on my mobile and had no issue (you can also do it with the button on the router).
I closed the 2.4Ghz network from the router to the mercusys, leaving only the 5Ghz network and the speed was better. From Mercusys to the devices, I left both networks active, as I have devices that only work on 2.4GHz and others on 5GHz.
I do not have technical knowledge, I judge it based on the result. I bought it because of the good reviews. It is really good. I have tried 2-3 others with the same performance. This is clearly the best.
Excellent tool. It does the job that a WiFi repeater should do very well and better than more expensive machines. And its price is unreal. I highly recommend it!
An interesting feature is that the extended networks of the repeater, on different frequencies, work independently of the host network (e.g. the main router). This means that even if you are connected to the 2.4GHz network of the repeater, the device will use both channels in its connection to the router (if possible) to exchange data, which generally increases the data transfer rate for the user.
