I have the router in a detached house on the upper floor, at the edge of the house (there was a telephone line there) and I couldn't get any WiFi signal on the other side of the house. I have placed it in the middle of the house on the upper floor and now I have full signal downstairs, with a very stable speed (12mbps) without any issues. I installed it very easily using the first method. I highly recommend it!!
Also, I had difficulty connecting it to Chromecast, I was searching for instructions on the internet and I found out that I had to disable the access point from the tp link, I struggled a bit but eventually by doing a factory reset on the Chromecast I was able to connect, without actually changing anything in the tp link settings (so obviously it was a Chromecast issue, and I just mention it in case someone else encounters the same problem)
It doesn't work. I bought it to provide ethernet to my Vodafone TV as it didn't work with wifi. Its signal is excellent, it's powerful. However, it creates a problem in the entire network, causing the internet to drop/disconnect from the Vodafone router 20-30 times a day. The Vodafone technician informed me that the network has excessive "noise" as long as the TP-Link is plugged in and gave us a new router, but nothing changed. When I unplug the TP-Link from the socket, everything works perfectly without any disconnections or anything. Disappointed.
Yes, definitely the setup is very easy but I was not satisfied at all. Although it does have a long range, the speed it offers is not satisfactory. While my regular router reaches 25 Mbps, the extender reaches a maximum of 15 Mbps and sometimes even drops to 3 Mbps!!!!!! I do not recommend it
I had difficulty connecting to the router at first, but once I did, it immediately detected and connected to the network at 2.4 GHz. It has excellent signal strength from the upstairs floor where the router is located, and I have signal throughout the entire lower part of the house! The purchase was definitely worth it
It connects very easily after downloading the application. If you remove it from the socket and place it elsewhere in the same area, but not the same router, it automatically reconnects without you having to do anything. It has special LED lights that indicate the most suitable spot for it to be placed. You should have it somewhere between the router and the area where you want to enhance the Wi-Fi signal
Awesome value for money. It sends signal up to the yard which is quite far from the router. It solved our problem!
Desperation.... In case you want it for wireless connection and to extend the range of your WiFi, it's okay, that's why it gets 2 stars. In case you want to use it with an Ethernet cable on your PC for gaming, etc., it's not worth it AT ALL! I have a 100 Mbps line and I get 65 Mbps upload, 10 upload, and 65 ping+ depending on the game
For its price, it is good. Personally, I have the router on the first floor and this one on the ground floor. I have had it for 2 months and there are times when it disconnects. I don't fully trust it for important video calls, for example, but for simple browsing on the ground floor, it's fine.
It worked well for a year and then it no longer connects to the router, constantly requiring reinstallation but nothing happens
I am on the first floor K and I wanted at least K minimum signal in the basement, that is, about 6 meters straight line distance from the router, it does not pass through the two 22cm plates that are probably in between. Zero signal!!! Easy to install, elegant, and seems to be of good quality, but unfortunately no results. It's okay, thank you anyway.
It enhances the signal (the wifi lines) but has a speed of 0. From the router of the house, I have better speed on the ground floor, while in the one that is 6 meters away, it has worse speed.
Very good for its price. It had some issues in the beginning in terms of range, but they all resolved themselves after a while.
Easy installation, I have two, one for each side of the house, now everyone has signal everywhere!
One is wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it from rain and it has already survived half of the winter outdoors! It just needs to have signal where it stands to do its job. If the signal doesn't reach where it is, it can't extend it!

The product I bought today 9/12/21 must be defective or useless! I did everything technically possible. I simply wasted 3 hours of my life. It didn't improve anything at all. I will return it tomorrow.
The router is located on the ground floor, so the signal was limited on the second floor of the house. After purchasing the amplifier, the signal is full on the second floor. I highly recommend it.
The product is simply defective and useless! I did both the connection and the installation exactly as described in the description! Step by step! And since I have placed it in another room to have better wifi (because the description says so when you program it with the router), out of the 10 times, I will only have internet 2 times! First of all, the 300 Mbps number is fake! This thing doesn't even give 5 Mbps! What 300 are you telling me? If I had a Vodafone connection (where they increase the slow internet and decrease the nonexistent one), I would have a better signal! I have nothing else to say, it's just useless! Now, for a display in an archaeological museum, it's good!
It was very easy to install thanks to the videos on YouTube with instructions from the company. I bought it to extend the signal to the balcony and it went from 3mbps to around 35mbps, which is what I have at home with wifi.
Synchronized immediately and provided me with 3 signal lines in a spot where I didn't have any before. The purchase was worth it. I hope it will remain in the future.
The only thing I would like to mention is that you should pay attention to the version of TP-LINK because no store has the v6 and they simply send you the v7. You order the v6 but when it arrives, it is the v7.
Very good value for money. One tip: place it in a spot in your house where there is good internet and not somewhere where the router doesn't reach well, because it won't have a good signal afterwards

In a 200 square meter house, the router is placed upstairs and it provides good internet throughout the whole house. I highly recommend it without hesitation!

The negative thing is that at the 4.5 meters distance from the router to the device and from the device to the computer, there is a small difference in what it used to catch compared to what it catches now.

Very high quality as construction, I use it at a distance of 10-15 meters from the router on the mezzanine floor and it catches perfectly, maintaining stable speeds (10-20 Mbps). And basically, I bought it because it doesn't have antennas... I believe it's worth it.

I have had it for about 6 months and I can say that I am completely satisfied! I use it to extend the signal of the router to a neighboring building. I can't say that its setup is the easiest, but it didn't give me much trouble. I set it up next to the router and haven't had to deal with it since. It works flawlessly 24/7! It is located in a neighboring building from where the router is, at a height difference of about 8 meters. The distance from the PC I work on is about 5 meters, with two interior walls (made of single brick) in between (between the Repeater and PC). So, overall, there are two interior walls (single brick) and two walls (double brick) between the PC and Router. On my PC, I have a signal of 4-5 bars and a speed of about 70% of what I have when I am in the building where the Router is located. I highly recommend it!!! It really solved my problems!!! Value for money!!! Buy it with your eyes closed!!! ;)
The best choice for its price. In a house of 120+ square meters with the router on one side, there is now signal in every corner, even on the upper floor.
Installation is very easy, instructions are very clear.
If done correctly the first time next to the router, then it can be moved wherever you want.
And with the Tether app on your mobile, you can control everything, from an assistant for proper placement to a nighttime shutdown program.
I recommend it without a second thought!
Wasted money. In the first year of use, it started having problems (spikes, significant drops in speed). I bought a second one, but it had the same issues. Simply useless.
If it had half a star, I would give it children, it's not worth your money for free.. it works for two days and then it needs a factory reset
I highly recommend it, it is the best with great range and discreet. Very easy to install and set up. The nice thing is that it has two functions, the first one allows you to connect it wirelessly to your router's wifi and transmit the signal, and if you have a device nearby that can only be connected wired, such as a desktop computer, you can connect it directly to the device without needing to run a cable from your router. The second function is to connect the device with a cable and have a wifi extender, meaning if the device is too far away from the main router and doesn't have a signal, you can connect it with a cable and have wifi. I have used it with both functions, and it works perfectly!
