Guys, it heats up quickly and economically. In half an hour, I cooked 2 pork chops. I opened the lid once to turn the grill and that's it. I put aluminum foil at the bottom and a little water, resulting in easy cleaning in 5 minutes and no odors. I recommend it for purchase, it's worth its money. If you keep opening the lid constantly, it's logical that it will take longer to cook. After the first 2-3 grills, you will understand its function and then you will be masters. The construction may seem a bit thin, but it's just the way it should be. Easy to use, easy to clean, and economical in terms of electricity. If you cook for an hour, it's impossible to consume as much as 1,200, when the kitchen oven consumes 3,500 and will definitely take over an hour for the same cooking. I think you can see the difference in power consumption. The grill doesn't stick, nothing sticks to it. As for the grill, we leave it inside to burn for 7-8 minutes, open the lid, put the meat, and that's it, it doesn't stick or anything.
And something else, because I saw it in a comment and it made me laugh, it's an electric grill, not charcoal, what are you trying to compare? In the end, I am satisfied, I have done 8 grills so far and it's perfect.
Within a year, half of the heating element does not cook. The grill was distorted from the first month. The quality of the lid is very poor. It was distorted from the first use. The cooking quality initially was good, but the construction quality is terrible. The worst quality inox (an alloy that I doubt is suitable for food) that was immediately distorted by high temperature and dried with stains (as if it is greasy)
The quality of inox is far superior to the competition. I have had it for years, I use it a lot, I wash it in the dishwasher, I scrub it with wire, and it doesn't suffer any damage. Especially for fish, which I often cook, it is excellent because the top resistance, once you learn the technique, does not dry them out. Excellent product of Greek manufacturing, no comparison to Chinese junk!
I have nothing negative to mention, everything I have bought from Roller is guaranteed, because it seems that the materials of construction are excellent. I have bought another grill in the past and there is no comparison. Nothing happens with use, I remove the resistance which is on top and it does not get dirty, and I wash the entire grill directly without hassle or worry about short circuit. The grilling is always uniform. A grill that does your job and makes it easy.

Although it grills very well, the quality of the construction alloy is very poor.
It cannot be cleaned at all, not even with oven cleaner if you leave it for hours... Very disappointing.

It's an electric grill, so you know you won't get the charcoal result. But it's honest and at a great price! It's lightweight, heats up quickly, and cleans easily. For everyday use at home, if you don't have a charcoal grill, it's perfect. The only negative is that it could have slightly better quality materials (one lid is of "cheaper" quality) and the cord could be longer. Still worth it!

I had an old grill, no comparison to the new ones, but unfortunately it broke. I decided to get the Roller 1200W. Overall, it's good. It grills very well, the food doesn't stick if you use the grill correctly. The disadvantages are the very short cable and, most importantly, the upper surface requires a lot of attention as it can burn you easily. I would prefer it to not be "active" and be more secure. Be careful when opening the lid to check the food, as it can touch something and burn it. Other than that, it's fine.
The second time I buy this specific grill, the previous one I had for over a decade and only the handles had broken, the resistors were working great (I wanted a smaller one in size, it serves me better.) I am very satisfied overall.
Used it twice, the first time it overloaded the electrical installation and the power went out. There was some problem with the cable, but the Scroutz service was excellent. They took back the grill and refunded the money. In conclusion, I don't have an opinion about the grill, I assume it's good but relatively slow, based on the one cooking session that was completed.

We have grilled everything with them!!! If you get used to the times, you can serve quite a few people. For 4 people, each grill is good. For more people, you will order a second one. GOOD GRILL!!!

Although most of the things have been mentioned, I also agree that grilling with it feels like grilling in the kitchen oven on the resistors. That's true. Unfortunately, if you want to grill large fish, sea breams, sea basses, the lid doesn't close initially. They need to be grilled for a while and eventually it will close, but it takes a lot of effort to prevent the fish from sticking to the grill. I wouldn't choose it again. It is an average grill.
I have had this specific grill for two years and have done countless barbecues. It is of very good quality construction, the grilling is exceptional, very close to charcoal (as long as you learn how to use it), and a great advantage is that the heating element can be removed and easily cleaned in the dishwasher. I bought another one as I took the first one to my country house.
I have had it for less than 15 days and I have grilled souvlaki, steaks, and burgers. It grills quite well and very quickly on the large capacity grill it has. Tip for easy cleaning of the grease on the bottom: Cover the bottom where the grease falls from the grill with aluminum foil and pour a little water. Also, to prevent the meat from sticking to the grill, cut an onion in half and rub it. CAUTION: Every 10-15 minutes, take a look at the meat you are grilling to avoid burning
Very good grill, the heating element can be removed and washed without any worries, without having cables in the middle. Good build quality, I would just prefer to have heating elements on top and bottom so that you don't have to constantly turn the grill. Do not make the mistake of removing the resistance to clean the top internally. You will regret it bitterly... If you can finally remove it, you will spend hours trying to put it back on... I have had it for over 6 years and I mainly cook meat (steaks, chicken, fish) on a weekly basis for a family of four. Bad construction quality, the handles move when holding them. Especially if the grill is heavy. The metal rings of the grill broke when I pressed it a bit because the open chicken did not fit in butterfly style. The grill can accommodate relatively thin pieces of meat, such as steaks. It cannot open further, for example, for thick skewers or chicken pieces. On the plus side, it is relatively easy to store, takes up little space, the handles of the grill fold and it consumes relatively little power (1200W), while the lid keeps the temperature inside. The resistance on top helps prevent fire from the fat running off... Overall, it is not worth its money. With better construction quality, it would be a good proposition.

It does not cook well at all, it is very powerful and it dries the meat on the outside while it is not cooked on the inside. A non-stick pan is a thousand times better. In my opinion, it is very difficult to clean, fats from the meat come off and stick to the top lid, then it requires a lot of scrubbing with wire to clean, and it never comes back to its original state. Of course, the grill is also difficult to clean. I did not like the construction (cheap construction), specifically mine does not close properly (poor fit). I have stopped using it.
We have had it for over 1.5 years. We use it very often for meat, fish, vegetables, and even corn (rocks), mushrooms, etc.
It does its job very well as long as you use it carefully. For example, we have 2 grates (we bought the second one together with the grill since the price of the grill was below 50€) and we use one for meat and the other for fish. We also put a small metal dish with a little water inside and under the grate to collect the fats and prevent the bottom surface of the grill from getting dirty, avoiding unnecessary cleaning. We also have a small baking dish to cook sometimes without the grate, such as burgers with potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed potatoes, or other delicious dishes.
The only thing that "bothers" me and I'm afraid it might break are the blades that hold the top lid when you open it (I try to support it somehow) because they are stuck and it is easy for them to break... I had experienced this with a similar one before (from another company).

It bakes very well, quickly and economically. The taste is something between an oven and a frying pan (without oil), so it does not replace charcoal in any case. The lid needs attention because it raises temperatures when opened. It is good to use gloves because of the hot air. Baking is healthy because no fat falls on the heating element. It does not smell and does not produce smoke. Very good value for money!
Overall, it is a value-for-money grill, however it would be good to have a drip tray underneath to collect the fats and also to have a larger distance between the top lid, because when you put the meats, the lid does not close and you have to put something on top to keep them pressed.
