It is not 100% waterproof, meaning it will not absorb heavy rain, but it is suitable for light rain.
Comfortable and high-quality with plenty of useful pockets. It has not been tested, but it seems like it can protect against potential accidents (e.g. chainsaw, branches, metal sheets, etc.)

WARNING
Unfortunately, it is NOT waterproof and I bought it for this exact reason.
MAYBE it can repel some splashes-droplets (water resistant), but it is definitely not waterproof.
I tested it in the bathtub, simply poured water WITHOUT pressure with the shower and IMMEDIATELY felt the cold water and the pants got wet instantly, I repeat WITHOUT pressure.
