The Aputure MC is the first RGBWW film light. This light features full color control in an HSI system and a CCT color temperature range of 3200°K-6500°K, giving you a complete and comprehensive range of color options.
In addition to this, the built-in magnets and its size, which is approximately the size of a credit card, allow this tiny RGB light to be adapted anywhere you need it.
The MC also features USB-C PD charging and wireless Qi, so it is always ready for use. It is also compatible with Aputure's Sidus Mesh technology, allowing you to use the Sidus Link app to unlock all its lighting capabilities.
The MC is the latest lighting model in the M series and the smartest light Aputure has built to date, offering you tremendous flexibility in use.
The Aputure MC allows you to have greater flexibility in your shoots, providing you with multiple lighting modes according to your needs.
In addition to the HSI color mode, you have the option to adjust the white light with the CCT mode or use the built-in lighting effects in the FX mode.
The MC is Aputure's first light to include Hue, Saturation, & Intensity (HSI) color control to produce any possible color.
The Sidus Mesh technology is integrated into the MC and forms the core of control via the Sidus Link mobile app, which may be the most advanced mobile technology to date.
The Sidus Mesh system allows each light to communicate with another light and simultaneously with the app.
With the current Sidus Mesh technology, you can control up to 100 lights that are in a stable network. Control a single light fixture or all of them simultaneously from the Sidus Link mobile app for iOS and Android.
One of the most innovative features of the Sidus Link app is the Color Picker function. With the color picker, you can simply point your phone's camera at a color, sample that color, and your light will immediately reproduce it. What you see is what you get. Just measure the color and start shooting!
Enjoy the freedom from cables. The MC is compatible with the Qi wireless charging protocol, which allows it to be used with the majority of wireless chargers on the market.
The MC is available in a travel kit with 4 lights and a production kit with 12 lights. Each of these kits comes with a special hard wireless charging case to protect and charge your MC wherever you are.
Equipped with a USB Type-C charging interface, the MC is the first Aputure light to support the PD (Power Delivery) fast charging protocol.
With 18W USB-C PD charging, the MC can reach its full charge in approximately 90 minutes.
The MC weighs only 130 grams and fits easily in your palm. With a size just slightly larger than a credit card and a thickness of only 17 mm, the MC fits everywhere.
The built-in magnets and the 1-4"-20 screw mount allow you to set it up and use it within seconds.

The best thing I could have gotten... powerful, does everything, the magnets are strong and keep it where it should be, warm and cold, any color you can think of and the effects are something else... they give you ideas for new things... I have 2 for now... they're simply amazing... a size you wouldn't believe would have so much power... an application that does everything, even color copying... PERFECT, simply perfect...
It has all the good things of Aputure and the positives of its series (connectivity with other similar devices, effects, very good battery life, etc.). It is very powerful for its intended use. As an on-camera light, it is of moderate power.
Excellent little light. It has almost everything, including wireless charging and a magnet on the back. The rest, I imagine anyone looking for something like this knows, so I won't go into detail.
It doesn't get 5 stars because of the frequent disconnections of the app with the phone and tablet.
