  What I want to say is that it has a mini USB input in case you want to connect an SSD that has some extra power requirements. Only then you will need to connect a USB "pack" to provide extra power. Otherwise, the Ugreen Sharing Box does not need power because it takes it from the USB of the computer you will open. The switching between devices is done automatically on one or the other computer ... if they are closed and you open one of the two.

  It is a budget-friendly accessory. I have connected two devices (Ducky One 3 keyboard and Mionix Naos Pro mouse) and they work fine, despite the issues described below.

  The following issues arise from the very first day of use.

  Positives:
  * It is small and sleek.
  * The material does not seem particularly cheap.
  * The package includes 2 USB cables to connect to the 2 workstations.
  * It has an additional 5V Micro USB input port.
  * During the use of one of the 2 workstations, I did not notice any loss of connection.

  Negatives:
  * It is quite slow in switching between the two workstations (about 3 seconds).
  * Quite often, after pressing the button it has, it fails to successfully switch between workstations.
  * The package does NOT include a Micro USB cable, despite having the port.

The only thing I have noticed is that the microphone sometimes picks up interference, while when I plug it directly into the laptop, it stops.   I have connected the Gaming keyboard (Motospeed CK104), Gaming mouse (Logitech G502), Gaming Headset (Zeroground HD-2400G) and I use it for switching between the above devices seamlessly between my Gaming PC with Windows 10 and my laptop with Linux Mint, even during gaming sessions. It does what it promises and it's worth every penny. I haven't connected an external power supply as I don't use it for connecting USB flash drives or external HDDs, so I don't have an opinion on its performance in such a usage scenario.

  I have it and power supply on top but something I don't like.... I have it connected to a smart TV PC and to the PC. As soon as I switch it from the first to the second device, sometimes it tells me to format the USB.
