The book presents eleven selected landslides in Greece, their significance and peculiarities, their research and study, and their restoration measures, demonstrating the practical application of soil mechanics theory in real conditions.
Particular reference is made to landslides in "semi-cohesive" formations that abound in Greece.
There is also a special mention of stability analyses in three dimensions and their possible usefulness in landslide analysis.
