The coffee pot by Gefu is made of stainless steel, a material particularly resistant to high temperatures, which heats up very quickly and can retain the temperature for a longer time compared to aluminum coffee pots.
This specific coffee pot is ideal for turning milk, cream, etc. into a creamy froth. The double bottom guarantees the maintenance of the correct temperature, and the spout with the flow makes it easier to pour the cream into the cup. Additionally, it is compatible with electric, induction, and gas stoves.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I got it for use on an induction hob. Due to its relatively large diameter (for a coffee pot), the hob recognizes it.
After half a year of use, it still works fine, but it has two drawbacks. Its bottom is not completely flat, causing it to wobble a bit on the hob. Also, it easily shows marks from salts on the inside, which are difficult to remove...
Update: All of the above still apply, except that the marks from salts don't actually come off particularly hard...
It loses a lot in appearance due to its disproportionate handle and its price. Otherwise, I tried it on an induction stove and it works. The diameter of its base is 9cm.
UPDATE one year later:
I will lower it from 4 stars to 2.
Positives:
It is very fast, due to its large surface area. It is convenient for heating even small amounts of food, which proved to be very useful. It makes Greek coffee in 60 seconds on my stove.
Negatives:
One of the two joints on the handle came off. Okay, I fixed it and glued it back with special adhesive, but no one is required to know the procedure, nor is anyone required to have the tools for such a thing, and it certainly is not reasonable to pay so much money for something that broke in a year.
