In order to prepare for the ECPE certification, I tried various books and one of them was this one and the following ones in the series (2,3). It is a comprehensible book, quite challenging but it prepares you adequately for the exams. I recommend it.

Very good book along with the corresponding green one from the same publishing house. It has very good practice topics, which are quite challenging compared to others in the market, but they easily put the student in the exam mindset. Of course, all of this in combination with a very good teacher who will help and make the language understandable to the students, so that they become proficient in English.

A book that tutoring centers use to load candidates with pointless tests. No one learns English with these methods. Most people struggle to even pronounce their own name.

Last but not least: You have to pay so much for the answers and the listening exercises in case you want to prepare on your own. It's ridiculous!
