My son,
My soul aches now that I am writing to you, forgotten in a depressing room of a nursing home, cut off from everyone. But what hurts the most is not seeing you. I know, you have your work and your busy life, but loneliness hurts a lot, it is unbearable. I would give anything to see you! And my time is no longer much. I hope everything is well in your life and that you are happy and joyful.
I think of you and love you very much,
your father
The retired firefighter Argyris Farmakis, broken by life. His son Aris, prone to all kinds of trouble. An abyss separates them. However, they are united by a shocking development, through sixteen heartbreaking letters.
A true story of a father and son that dives deep into the soul and brings tears to the eyes…

I pitied this HERO - FATHER. Almost a daily story (I would say) in a part of it. I would like it not to turn back to the present so abruptly and to see Alex's emotions because he essentially experiences the same thing. 4/5 because everyone talks about the bitter milk, which I believe would be unfair to be included in the same evaluation as this specific story. Incredible author. Touching 3/5. Fast-paced
Good book that shows in its own way that we are all temporary and human selfishness should not be excessive. Of course, Sakellaropoulos constantly goes for the sentimental stories that he knows sell more. I would also like a story that is not based on drama.
If it lacked so much melodrama, it would be much better.
