This specific model of 2700W (or 1980W) is for those who have a workstation PC and need a lot of watts for hours of rendering/machine learning, etc. but it is highly worth it compared to online UPSs which continuously provide power from their batteries, converting the alternating current to direct current, but constantly produce noise from their fans and their batteries wear out from continuous use, which require replacement after a certain period of time in order for the UPS to continue working, which is not the case here.

The batteries of Line-Interactive UPSs only wear out when they discharge/charge because they have been working to power the devices, otherwise they remain inactive and on standby when needed during voltage drops/power outages. In practice, it may take years (with photovoltaic systems and a generator that turns on and off daily) to replace them, whether it is the huge model of this evaluation or another Cyberpower Line-Interactive model. I do not have experience with other brands (except for APC which - personally - I do not recommend for reliability-lifespan), but this applies perfectly to Cyberpower UPSs, which are the cream of the crop in my opinion.

For those who are wondering and have not found an answer, the difference between the ***XL and ***SL (in the 3000VA model, the XL is not available in the 2200VA model) is that the XL has rear outlets to directly power it from photovoltaic batteries (up to 48V), WITHOUT needing to be powered by a 220V socket, like the regular model. In other words, in practice it becomes a mini-inverter in case the inverter of the photovoltaic system fails and you run out of 220V power supply, incredibly valuable in extreme situations!

This specific model, as a line-interactive UPS, is COMPLETELY quiet when it does not need to provide power from its batteries, and it does this for a very short period of a few minutes, until its internal circuits cool down after working to protect the devices. I wrote a similar comment on the other true sine-wave models of the CyberPower CPXXX0EPFCLCD series, the same applies here.

Do not look elsewhere if you have sensitive electronic devices, ESPECIALLY if you have a computer that requires true sine-wave (clean sine wave) from modern power supplies (PSUs) for many years.

INCREDIBLY reliable with thousands of voltage drops in their history (photovoltaic + generator) without ANY problems, no comparison to the 4-5 power outages that most people experience annually in cities, I speak to you from such a long-term experience with them. The definition of the word "investment" for the safety of your equipment.

ONLY Cyberpower for UPSs, no other company! Personal opinion, DO NOT go below the wattage you think you need for cost savings, as in our days you will not only use it for one computer or one monitor as initially calculated, you will see how many devices you end up using it to protect from possible outages/surges/lightning and more, as it has automatic voltage regulation (AVR), meaning it corrects the incoming voltage it receives to reach around 220V.

I forgot to mention that "cheap" UPSs consume up to 20W (measured, not theories) in standby mode without doing ANYTHING, which means you will be paying for 1 kWh every 48 hours...

This specific brand, due to its GreenPower feature, in standby mode (while working with devices on top of it, not turned off), does not consume more than 2-3W at worst (including the screen, when you want it constantly on to show you something like the Watts it sends to connected devices), when it is not using the batteries, as it allows the current to pass "freely" through it (it provides protection, not unfiltered).

In general, remember the wisdom of the people: "Cheap will eventually become expensive" or as the Americans say: "If you don't pay nice, you pay twice!".

With closed eyes, Cyberpower, NO other company, no matter how tempting their brand or price may seem to you!
