    I ordered a pair and both came out defective, nothing terrible! I have 28mm discs, on one side it fit comfortably, on the other side it only went halfway (this happened with both dumbbells exactly at the same point). I measured 28mm on one side and 28.5mm on the other, so I had to adjust it a bit! Of course, now everything is fine and it does its job! I don't consider it a big problem, but it's a shame!

    Sturdy, I put 10 kilos on each side and I have no problem. I tighten them between some sets. The weights do not unscrew easily, but after some strong sets with rotational movements, they will come loose, like most dumbbells.

I have worked with a total weight of 20+ kilograms and never felt like something would come off or that it is unstable (which happened with an x-fit barbell with collars when I added 1.25kg!!!!!!!!). I don't believe there is anything better, about 8cm of space for plates on each side.
