  The crash test showed that although it picks up small debris and some hairs (I did 3-4 passes in the same spot), it didn't do a great job on fabrics, while it works well on surfaces like tables, cabinets, etc. To rinse it under the faucet while the water is running, you do it by hand and the debris comes off. The good thing is that it can be reused. We also tried it on the carpet with the front brush it has, and it's okay, it just "combs" the hairs towards one direction, but then you have to pick them up by hand. Personally, for pet hairs, I would recommend another product.
