From what I understand, thermometers of this kind have a 1 in 10 chance of working properly. Well, no matter how hard you try to switch it to person temperature instead of room temperature, it will still measure room temperature... In the rare case that it obeys, it will switch to measuring person temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. You will have to use a conversion table to do your job... but you won't bother doing all that.

From the moment I opened it, I couldn't figure out how it works... it was constantly red and I thought I did something wrong... until I bought another one from a store because I have a baby and I needed it for 13€. It worked immediately and it's perfect... logically, the first one was broken...

Of course, I cannot claim that it is perfect and provides amazing measurements, as each measurement may differ from second to second. However, the ones I have compared with both electronic and mercury thermometers are very close. In fact, I noticed that the measurement on the underside of the wrist gives the same numbers as those on the forehead in most measurements.

The measurements are completely random! I did experimental measurements with my wife, comparing them with a reputable oral thermometer, and it always gave us different temperatures. The difference reached up to 0.6 degrees Celsius, but even that would change! Not once did it show the correct temperature. Do not buy it under any circumstances! It's a waste of money!

Quite convenient, especially if you have a baby at home. I can say that the measurement accuracy is good, with a slight deviation of +- 0.3, but that doesn't bother me at all. A big plus is that it also measures the ambient temperature, so I can calculate how warm his milk or food is. It's definitely worth it and more!
