It solves your hands if you don't want to deal with Wi-Fi or cables in remote rooms of the house. Sometimes the connection may drop, but from what I have noticed, it happens when the computer is in idle mode. On the contrary, it has never dropped during streaming or web meetings (which can last up to 4 hours). It may drop once a week, once a month, or twice a day (very rarely). In that case, you simply press the powerline button for 5-6 seconds and it reconnects.
DISCONNECTS OFTEN!!! Do not buy it, it's not worth the money. I would rather throw my money on the street.
Everything is fine, just one important detail that I didn't see because I rushed to buy them, they are not gigabit and the 600 Mbps is not in LAN speed, so if you have a line above 100 Mbps, unfortunately, you will not enjoy it to the fullest.
It is quite mediocre for its price.
The most important issue is that it regularly disconnects, no matter what settings I tried. The problem was not solved either by updating the firmware through the official TP-Link application, nor by disabling the power saving mode. Tested on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04, although it probably doesn't matter. The devices are directly connected to the sockets and not to power strips.
The only solution for the disconnections is to constantly run a background program/script that regularly pings the local address. No disconnections after using this trick.
I give it a 3/5 because their speed is excellent, practically the same as a direct connection. The application is also convenient for device settings, it's very positive that it has the ability to turn off the lights on each device separately!
I have been in the apartment for a few weeks and it has not caused me any issues. The internet speed is as expected and it does not disconnect as mentioned in some comments, which may be due to the local electrical network of the building.
Two days I have installed the Kit and my impressions are very good.
In the TV box with frequent image freezes before with WiFi, for now not a single interruption.

I have it for about 2 years, the purchase of such a product is very worthwhile. It has disconnected only a few times, but it may also be due to the internet I have.
In its connection, it is quite easy, maybe in the beginning it needed some reboots, but now it has been working continuously and flawlessly for almost a month. For my home, it has about 50% loss in downstream and almost none in upstream (measuring the speed directly on the router and then on the powerline), without having any issues with streaming TV or web meetings, etc. Maybe a gamer might need something else, but for my needs and its cost, I am very satisfied.

The powerline should be plugged directly into a socket, and if you want, you can plug an additional power strip into it.
I have a 100 Mbps download (10 Mbps upload) connection and when I connect with my TP-LINK, it reduces the speed to 30 to 40 Mbps. I would like it not to reduce my speed.
I have the TP-LINK TL-PA4010P KIT v5 set for two years and I am very satisfied. It connects easily and even though one of the two devices is plugged into a power strip, it works without any problems.
Indeed easy to install, plug n play. Speed on the pc I connected the 2nd device was 31 Mbps while with wireless connection it synchronized at 47 Mbps. Significant speed loss.
Excellent! Overall, it is very good as an alternative to cables. As a comparison measure for this specific brand, I don't have any, but it is quite stable and its speed is satisfactory, I don't see any difference from before
Very effective Powerlines easily terminate the 100MBps line, which is the speed of their Ethernet ports. Very rare disconnections and zero latency. I have 2 pairs in the same phase and I recommend them, given their price.
Stable speed....it solved my hands due to the fact that I have only been using wireless connection on laptops and desktop computers so far....get it with closed eyes!!!! It's worth the money and more!!! Very satisfied with the purchase....
Very good choice. The electrician had forgotten to install an ethernet port behind the television. This solved my problem.
I have installed 5 devices in my house (built in 2004) and I haven't had any issues. The only problem I have noticed is when the hairdryer is connected on the same line, then it loses connection probably due to noise. Otherwise, I haven't experienced any other noticeable disconnections that bother me. The speeds are satisfactory (I have tested it for connecting cameras, televisions, and computers).
In a two-story maisonette, it works great. I have 50 internet and I get 30-35 throughout the house. I believe that the job the electrician has done with the lines in the house plays a role. Easy to connect.

I have a 50Mbps speed at home and in the room I was getting 20-25Mbps. After connecting this specific product, which is also easy, I consistently get 50Mbps without any loss.
One piece is directly connected to the router and the other to the room where we want to connect with Ethernet. It can also be connected to a second pair easily as they are compatible with each other.
The functionality is based on the house wiring as the speed is transmitted through the power, so if you don't see the desired speed, it is likely due to the electrical wiring of the house.
Based on the above, the product is worth its money.
P.S: If you want to plug it into a power strip, make sure to first plug in the extender and then the power strip on top of it, as you will experience losses.
I have it since August 2020, I got it to connect Vodafone TV. Lately, it keeps disconnecting and I don't know why. My speeds are fine, I have a 50 Mbps connection and I get the same speed on both the modem with Ethernet and the TV with PLC. The modem is in close proximity to the TV, where I have connected the PLC, about 5 meters away without walls.
After 1 year, I have a clear picture:
1) The provider, due to outdated wiring, can give me 38 on a 50 Mbps connection. With PLC, I have 36-37. I consider the loss minimal.
2) I was skeptical due to comments about disconnections. Well, the disconnections are 0.
3) I regret not doing research and not knowing that such a gadget exists, and I was struggling with network cards (wasted money compared to the performance of PLC).
If you do the basic, that is, DIRECTLY into the socket, it's like connecting directly to the router.
My evaluation is for use in an apartment with a wiring distance of about 15 meters. I recommend it with closed eyes for those who want a wired connection in a room where there is no telephone line.
50 feet of cable in a 100 square meter house. The modem is in the living room, which is located at the beginning of the house, and I connected one end to the modem and the other to my room, which is at the other end of the house. The speeds are not that bad, I get 24 mbps sometimes, 35 mbps other times, 45 mbps other times, and occasionally 50 mbps, but more often I get 25 mbps. The ping is as expected and normal at the modem, but sometimes it's 5ms higher. I would recommend it to someone who doesn't have any other choice and needs internet with a cable in a different part of the house

Too many disconnections that seem very strange to me, with the USB wifi I didn't have such issues. In my opinion, you should go for something better with an extra 10-15 euros!
On the 2nd floor of a maisonette house, with VDSL 100mbps and measurement from the router reaching 97mbps with a latency of 60, while using the TP-Link with an Ethernet port on the lower floor, I reach 45mbps and a latency of 85-95. It will do the job, but the speeds are at 50%. Unfortunately
I have bought 2 pairs (total 4) and I have connected them on a 100 Mbps fiber. They work perfectly but they cut off 30 Mbps (probably due to the not so good electrical installation in the building).
They haven't disconnected once and they have been working flawlessly for 3 months. The WiFi is good, but I won't change the stability of the wired connection.
It has very good speed, it is exactly the same as an ethernet cable but some days it experiences a little stroke and disconnects a few times, but simply unplugging and plugging it back in works fine and the speed is great, there is no lag or drops. I have had it for about 9 months

Speed 275-300mbps at a wiring distance of ~6m. One device is connected to a power strip in the attic that goes to the electrical panel (there is no socket), so it may lose some speed from there. Disconnections are rare, but I haven't noticed them happening daily or if it's due to the power save mode that I have left enabled, since if it disconnects, it's not during a time when I'm using the network. Because I have internet through an antenna from another neighborhood, network problems are much more frequent due to the wireless connection rather than the power line.
