  This radio was very good, until April or May when the radio fell down and the button that we pull all the way to the right to be in "radio mode" doesn't work. Only the "usb mode" works. And when I had it plugged in many times, when I touched the antenna to adjust it, I would get shocked. But when it's not plugged in, it doesn't shock you when you touch the antenna.

  But...
  Its battery, after four months, either died, so I replaced it with a 18650, 3000mA one, it worked for almost a month and yesterday it stopped working. I put a new battery in, but still nothing. Dead.
  So, after nine months, it's simply a waste...
  Let's be honest, guys, the "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply to these portable - tabletop radios.
  Read reviews for much more expensive radios and you will understand what I mean. Chinese ones play everywhere regardless of the price.
  For this exact reason, I won't spend even 1 € more and I will buy the same one for 7 € cheaper than what I bought it for last year. I will spend 13 € and others will do the same from here.

  APPEARANCE
  I was looking for a radio that can record and I got stuck on the very good reviews that this one has. The pictures scared me with its kitschy appearance, but after removing the sticker in front of the speaker, it becomes tolerable in terms of appearance. The sticker was a small colorful one. The one I bought didn't have the huge X-BASS letters printed on it like in the photos. So don't be scared. I have the one that has brown wooden sides and top. Its front is completely black with silver buttons. The back and the carrying handle are also black.
  BUILD QUALITY
  In terms of construction, it is a classic Chinese product, but not of poor quality. Its size is not miniature and you can comfortably call it a tabletop device.
  BATTERIES - POWER
  It takes old large batteries (unused ones) and has a regular power cable socket, which is included (you will find it wrapped inside the battery compartment).
  On the top side, it says AC ONLY FOR CHARGE/BATTERY, but it doesn't apply because I have been plugged into the power since the beginning, without batteries, and it works just fine.
  SPEAKER
  Its speaker is very loud, but don't expect great sound quality. It is satisfactory in low and medium volumes, but after a certain point, it feels like it's going to explode. For everyday use, even in noisy environments, it is great!
  REMOTE CONTROL

  To the right of the volume ring, there are + and - buttons that allow you to change the saved position. There is no way to manually tune the frequencies one by one. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to save the stations in the order you want. I had it do a scan and after all the stations were saved, I noted in which positions the ones I listen to most frequently are, so I can recall them with 2 numbers from the remote control.
  The buttons to the left of the ring are related to recording, Mode, mp3 player, etc. They are practically useless, I still haven't figured out how they work.
  On the top side of the device, there is a USB port and two slots for storage cards (SD & TF). It can record radio on any of the three slots. I have only tried it with USB and it works great.   I would give it 4 stars, but I think it deserves 5 for its price. Would I buy it again? Definitely, because it does everything I wanted, even though it doesn't satisfy me in terms of appearance and sound quality (both in the speaker and in the recording). There simply aren't any other devices with recording capability, or if you find them, they cost over 50-60€.
  I don't know if the buttons and ports will withstand, time will tell. But with a cost of 15-17€, you don't think about it. During the same period, I bought other radios for 20-25€ and they had much lower quality and usability. This particular one is worth it mainly because of the FM reception and the convenience provided by the remote control.

It has a weak power supply and a large speaker, and it cannot keep up with charging its built-in battery and replenishing the power it consumes when playing with a USB stick. It has an internal lithium battery that cannot be removed, unless you unscrew the radio I suppose. It lasts about 2 to 4 hours, depending on the radio volume. It comes with a regular power cable for battery charging. So, it is good to connect it to the power only when the battery is finished to avoid damaging it. However, during charging, the radio can play directly without waiting to charge. Alternatively, it takes 4 R20 batteries. In the station search I did, it saved 71 stations, I imagine it can save more. It has ports for TF and SD Card playback and USB. One at a time. With their connection, you also have the ability to record with the rec/del button. In the USB position, you can record yourself using the built-in microphone it has. In the radio position, you can record a radio broadcast, even with the volume completely lowered. You can play the recording directly in the USB position. You can delete the recording when it is being played by pressing and holding the rec/del button. It has a headphone and karaoke 3.5mm jack that I have not tried. I tested the remote control up to 7 meters straight and it works. It changes stations and songs on the USB, adjusts the voice volume and mute, play, rec, delete, and stand by. Battery included.   Excellent. I have it for 2 years, no functional problems. I also have a second one here for 1 year. Excellent sound, way above its price, peculiar handling, reliable though you get used to it easily and in the end it's convenient. I use the USB quite a lot, its disadvantage is that it doesn't have random selection, which if it had, I would consider the device a gift from God. When you stop the USB, the next time it continues from where it stopped. Speaker after speaker with one of the clearest sounds. I use 4 large batteries (it requires them) and I always change them on time. Super portable with a long battery life for my home use. Overall excellent.
