If not removed (a 15.6-inch laptop fits comfortably even with the cushion!!!!), it significantly increases the laptop's protection.

Overall, it seems to be a good case. The photos on the website were accurate, so what I saw is what I received. I have had it for about 1 month.

Nice case that comfortably fits a mainstream 15.6" laptop from any manufacturer. It has thick padding inside the fabric and provides protection from a typical accident (e.g. dropping it on the floor, not from a balcony). It comfortably fits the laptop, but not the accessories (e.g. charger). I am satisfied with its performance for the job I need it for and would buy the product again 100%.

Because I have changed several sleeves since I have a heavy 15.6-inch laptop, this one is the best available. Spacious, sturdy as needed, smooth zipper, and durable materials. Get it without much thought.
