The 1971 Project Helios is a strategy game based on a series that combines modern military tactics and close combat.

Ammunition and vehicles are scarce, conflicts and hostilities are endless, and the terrible freezing cold annihilates friends and enemies along the way.

The campaign starts in a frozen world, where eight individuals - each with their own problems and interests - participate in a kind of temporary alliance to find a specific person: Dr. Margaret Blythe.

Along the way, they will have to avoid the attacks of raiders, explore military headquarters, and infiltrate the territory of a dangerous anti-technological religious sect.

In pursuit of their destination, they will travel and fight side by side, and inevitably get to know each other. Depending on certain strategies and personal decisions, you will guide these characters towards one of the three possible endings.
