Memories of adolescence are recreated with a darkly playful mood on the dominant contemplation of death, illuminating the distance of current life, not so much from events, as from the passage into nonexistence and memory.

The careful description of impressions is done in a concise and rhythmic language, reminiscent of the best moments of our literature. The first person discreetly facilitates the narration, while the short dialogues decoratively interrupt the flow of reminiscence, where all the effort is focused on determining the former functions of crisis and emotion.
