  The USB-C extension cable comes in 3 versions: 1) with PVC casing - 3A output - 5Gbps data transfer (USB 3.1 Gen 1), 2) with PVC casing - 5A output - 10Gbps data transfer (USB 3.1 Gen 2), and 3) with aluminum casing - 5A output - 10Gbps data transfer (USB 3.1 Gen 2).
  What you see here is the 1) USB 3.1 Gen 1 with the low speed and output. It also comes in 2 lengths (0.5m and 1m). It does what it promises, I have tested it for charging and data transfers on laptops and mobile devices. It also supports PD3.0 and QC3.0 (from 5V to 15V) with a maximum power of 30W.
