Recently, I decided to purchase an SPL-150 after much consideration and despite receiving many negative reviews from various speaker stores and other brand companies. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead and get this little beast. Over time, I have changed many subwoofers, but never fully satisfied. Once I connected it and played a specific movie, "1917," in bold Atmos 7.2, which has a lot of low frequencies, I was amazed. I couldn't believe it could go so low and make you feel those vibrations. The bass it produces is something else. Additionally, in music tracks, it has such tight and powerful bass that will leave you speechless. I am extremely satisfied. Of course, the price is a bit high, but if you can afford it, it's worth going the extra mile to acquire it. These few words I had to say: simply perfect. It cannot be described with words. Only when you own it will you understand

I have heard many speakers, even professional ones, and I have owned various sound systems with subwoofers, but this is the first time I decided to buy such a large/high-quality subwoofer. I don't have a comparison point for this category, but I will say that you can forget everything you have heard from Logitech/Creative subwoofers and all-in-one home cinema packages.

I bought it for 150 euros because it reaches frequencies up to 18Hz and I wanted to not only hear the sound but also feel it. I also wanted it to reach high volumes if I wanted to create an earthquake. However, what really won me over was the quality of the bass, which surprised me and made me not want to listen to anything else from the speakers/headphones I have at home. We're talking about fast response, tight bass, deep and full, without losing definition like the "muddy" bass that comes from the aforementioned systems.

In terms of volume, I don't think anyone would need more for home use unless the space is huge in a home cinema and another one is needed to pressurize the entire room during movies. I use it for movies/music/gaming and it is amazing in all aspects.

In music, I have it set at a low volume and adjusted to play from certain Hz and below in order to "blend" with the right/left speakers. The result is that if you don't turn it off, you can't tell that the sound is coming from the other 2 speakers. It offers a more "full" sound and low-end extension that you can't hear from smaller woofers. Some others, of course, prefer to turn it off completely for music.

In movies, it simply creates an earthquake. The frequencies it reaches are so low that even the floors and walls tremble.

In terms of volume, if I play songs with a lot of bass loudly, the books in my library in a room 5 meters away fall to the side, and those that can't fall "walk" towards the outside and I have to push them back in. The first time I turned up the volume of the AVR to 0db for a test, the tiles in the kitchen and the marble countertop, which are 8 meters away in an open space, started to crack. If you live in an apartment, be careful with the hours and obviously have some measure in place because the police will come after the first "boom". The first few times during the tests, playing songs I know, I sometimes heard a muffled noise that surprised me, similar to what you hear before an earthquake starts, and reflexively I waited to see if it was real. In the upstairs room where I went when I played loud music, the floor shook in the room directly above. All of this may sound exaggerated, but it is true.

The previous model of Klipsch had problems with the internal amplifier overheating, as far as I know, this has been fixed in this one. If anything comes up, I will mention it.

It may seem expensive, but you will truly experience something that will blow your mind, while hearing new sounds from songs you have already listened to hundreds of times and wondering where they have been all this time. I was skeptical until I heard it, now there's no turning back.
