Pen size. Strong magnet. I left it on the refrigerator door and it stayed on. When extended, up to the middle, it stayed on the fridge but started leaning downwards and when fully extended, due to the weight of the handle, it fell down. On the other hand, when fully extended it not only stayed on screws but I also had it pull a 55 gram metal object and it lifted it up.

The quality is quite good for its price. The magnet's strength is sufficient to hold tools in difficult areas such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
