I bought this book after reading the good reviews. I wasn't impressed! It constantly talks about religion and priests, and it bored me a lot. Then I realized that the author himself was a priest. I have read much better books of this genre

I started reading this book realizing that it contained many (if not all) of Andreas Konanos' speeches, which one can find on YouTube. Since I had already listened to them, I skipped several pages. The author's speech is very simple and direct, and you feel like he is right next to you, talking to you. In this particular book (because he has written others as well), he talks to us about the education of children, how important it is for parents to have a good relationship with each other because it also affects their relationship with their child, and many other things.

What I liked about the book "Get a Jacket" is that it is not a book exclusively for parents. On the contrary, it can be read by people who are not parents. They learn from the pages of the book how to improve their relationship with their family, while at the same time learning how to build the right foundations to become parents later on (if they wish, of course).

If there is one thing I would change in this particular book, it would be the small stories - poems that were inserted into the main text, as they often distracted me. I would prefer if they were integrated into the main text in a way that harmonizes with the rest of the text.

In short, it is a very nice educational - spiritual book that is easy to read. I learned a lot about family relationships in general, as well as about myself (oh, yes!) and I am very happy about that. Within its pages, you will find truths that may hurt you a little and touch your ego. It's okay... See it as a challenge! Scratch your ego instead of stroking it, and let this book show you the right path for better communication and relationship with your parents and children. :)

Perfect really!!! It is not only for parents, children, educators. It is a self-improvement book for everyone!! Very accurate observations about various problems in families, and nice advice. Unique writing style. Simple and enjoyable to read!!
