[...] The book "With Pain and Love for Contemporary Man" is the first volume of the series "Elder Paisios of Mount Athos Words". To make its content more user-friendly, it was divided into four thematic sections. Each section is divided into chapters and each chapter into smaller parts with corresponding subtitles. The footnotes that explain terms from the spiritual and monastic life, known to the brethren in Christ who have a special connection with patristic texts, were mainly made to facilitate readers who are not familiar with such terminology.
