This book is addressed to everyone. It contains the analysis of 120 or more Chinese herbs as well as 100 recipes of Chinese Herbal Medicine. It is necessary for those who are involved in Chinese Medicine in any way (Acupuncture, Diet, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Feng Shui, etc.), because it will help them deepen and understand the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can also be useful for anyone interested in herbs, Greek or other.

I hope that through this book, Chinese Herbal Medicine will find the place it truly deserves in our country.

I learned Chinese Herbs from four teachers. The first was the Chinese professor Chong Qianqwei (1997). The second was the American Ted Kaptchuk, whom I studied with for two years at the Anglodutch Institute of Oriental Medicine in the Netherlands. The third was the German Barbara Kirchbaum. The fourth was Professor Liu Gong Wang. I believe that all four, each from their own perspective, contributed to the formation of this book. I took the idea for the structure of the book from Dan Beusky's Materia Medica. My patients have also been my teachers, as they taught me patience and respect for the sick. However, I consider nature and the plants it has produced as the ultimate Teacher, as through contact with them one can learn wonderfully all the therapeutic actions of herbs.
