Good quality for its price.... Durable so far in rain.... After 6 months....
I do not recommend it. Over time and with weather conditions, small pieces come off. It was a hassle for me to remove it. In my opinion, membranes are better.
We painted the scooter's flashlights and they came out perfect! It's been two months since we painted them and they haven't suffered any damage!!! Don't rush, apply multiple coats every 10 minutes..... The result is between glossy and matte
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?The correct way to paint the lantern is one and requires A LOT OF GOOD SANDING with water sandpaper. We are professional painters in the field so we will know something more, I constantly see lanterns painted over the old varnish, to be MATTE with scratches and I CAN'T get nervous. So, the steps to achieve the result you see in my photos (i.e. a GLOSSY finish as if the lantern came out of the factory) are as follows: Sanding VERY well with 270 grit water sandpaper with horizontal movements only, continue with 800 grit and vertical movements this time, go to 1200 grit with diagonal movements, the same with 2000 grit, diagonal movements from the opposite side and finally 3000 horizontal. Clean well, the lantern should be foggy EVERYWHERE at this point, without any trace of the previous varnish, pass it with a degreaser (I use Antisil HB 770), go over the entire lantern, let it dry, wipe it with a microfiber towel and apply the first coat of paint, initially horizontally and then vertically (crossing), leave it to dry for at least 12 hours, apply the second coat and follow the exact same process if you want a third or fourth coat, etc. When we reach the desired level with the color, let it dry again for at least 12 hours and apply the clear coat in the exact same way, either with regular clear coat or if you want extra protection, use 2k with hardener. I used a regular varnish from the same company. The result is shown in the photos, a glossy finish and smooth to the touch. I didn't even bother to polish with compound and a polisher, it wasn't necessary. That's all from me, the 3 euros that this product costs do not reflect its value, it did an amazing job BUT in the way I described, under no circumstances will it be a good job if you try to paint the lantern directly while it still has the old varnish on it.

You clean the headlights very well and then wipe them with a little alcohol (it dries quickly).
Immediately after, you spray slowly and steadily with horizontal movements from a distance of 20-25 centimeters, after 10 minutes, second coat, then third, etc.
Yes, to make it completely black, so you can't see inside at all, it might need 5 coats, maybe 6.
I would say you can do 1-2 coats on the front headlights and 3-4 coats on the back.
After 24 hours, you can polish any imperfections with a 3000 grit sandpaper, and then with fine and extra fine compounds using a microfiber cloth.
Excellent result! I would say it looks factory-made.Tips.
If it's winter, leave the spray in a bucket of warm tap water for about 5 minutes.
And always shake it for 2 minutes to dissolve the black color well.
In many cars, the rear lights come off easily, so it's much better to paint them in a horizontal position rather than vertical.Update 27.3.21
I removed 1 star for 2 reasons.
First, it is forbidden to apply another varnish on top, I tried many and it "bubbles" and immediately corrodes and peels off.
Second, after 3-4 days, even though I cleaned and dried the headlights with alcohol, I tried to darken them a little more, it worked very well on 2 of them, but for some inexplicable reason, the other 2 bubbled and peeled off, maybe because the spray was close to their edges... I used it on a waterproof LED strip that I wanted to darken so it wouldn't be visible. After three coats (I almost finished the entire spray), it had excellent results.
