In the 3rd edition of the work "Law of Commercial Companies", special emphasis is given to the analysis of the new Law 4548/2018 on the Anonymous Company (as already in force after Laws 4587/2018 and 4601/2019), which replaced Law 2190/1920, abolishing it after almost a century of implementation. The amendments that the other laws on commercial companies underwent are also taken into account and highlighted to a lesser extent. These include Law 3190/1955 on the Limited Liability Company, amended by Laws 4541/2018 and 4601/2019, and Law 4072/2012, which was amended by Laws 4541/2018 and 4601/2019, regarding both the provisions on Homogeneous Company, Heterogeneous Company, and Joint Venture, and the provisions on Private Capital Company.

Finally, a separate chapter is devoted to Law 4601/2019, which for the first time regulates corporate transformations in a unified manner and abolishes the separate provisions that applied to each of the commercial companies.

This edition, which is legislatively updated until August 2019, aims to familiarize students, as well as legal professionals in theory and practice, with the "new legislative environment" regarding commercial companies.
