Sturdy construction, good tool. But for light work. 12V 2Ah is not enough for demanding tasks.
The impact driver has no issue with power but it creates vibration during screwing without enough force. I don't know if all impact drivers work like this but it doesn't suit me well as it makes noise when screwing.
For drilling with the drill driver, the tool doesn't perform well with the 12V 2Ah battery. I ordered the 12V 4Ah battery that it supports. It should be fine for demanding tasks, I am waiting for it.
4/5 stars because 200€ for Makita is an excellent package. Although it didn't meet my expectations (due to the battery).
So far, it's great when you buy Makita, you expect something that comes smoothly... powerful, reliable, proper weight, the 2mah batteries are small for professional use but it's okay, you can get the 5mah ones if there's an issue.
One small thing that I'm not sure if it's an issue is a slight heat at the point where the handle starts...
I don't think it's anything, if it is, I will come back.
I have this set for about three years. It really is value for money. They haven't shown any signs of wear or damage. They are lightweight and don't tire you out. They don't make much noise. I use them for drilling in wood, screwing in walls, as well as mixing cement, and they work great. In short, they are dogs. The best you can get at this price. I highly recommend them.
I use them amateurishly but they also work professionally since I make plasterboard and woodworking. For their price, they are perfect. I particularly like the fact that they are small and lightweight, so they don't tire me out. I also have Dewalt, but these take on the heaviest workload. Yes, okay, I would have liked a slightly larger battery, but they charge so quickly that I never run out. Of course, I'm thinking of buying another one and I'll be complete. You need to know why you're getting them, okay the impact is not for drilling concrete, but for everything else they are perfect. What impressed me pleasantly though is how durable they are, many falls and they are still like new. I highly recommend them.
