I have it somewhere for 3 months, very powerful, good and heavy device. The machine is more powerful than any other I have worked with and the black lid is necessary, even if it doesn't seem like it to avoid splashes. I didn't use it on other juicers. Also, if you put a thick glass underneath and it doesn't fit inside the base but sits on top, it will dance from the vibration. Just a simple glass tube or simply be careful not to let it go too far.
