The gameplay is very nice and overall the game is great, but in order to play multiplayer, you need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

I have it for 1.5 years and I still play it with great pleasure. It has a nice concept but it is also a pretty chill game. However, the multiplayer is not good at all because only one person controls what all the players will do. Also, the "guest player" does not have an inventory and cannot do almost everything. Despite all this, it is a very good game

  • Despite my reservations because I don't usually play these types of games, I fell in love with this one. I'm still playing it even after finishing the main story. It's adorable and addictive. I highly recommend it, it will relax you a lot.

Well. Animal Crossing is one of the best and recognizable franchises of Nintendo. And with this game, it did not disappoint. The soundtrack, the gameplay, the graphics, everything is perfect. There are endless things you can do every day. You can buy, sell, decorate your island, and invite villagers to come and stay on your island. There are 2 things I don't like. The multiplayer and the one who sells turnips. She's a real scammer >:(
Other than that, the game is amazing!

    It's OTC!
I haven't missed a day in *months*. I consistently log in, the way the seasons change, the trees, the fish, and the insects you can catch each month, etc., make it not boring. The NPCs do talk a lot, I would prefer if they shortened it a bit, but you get over it. The multiplayer is a bit pointless because the second player just follows, it's not like you can do something together-together. Overall, though, I have loved it (it reminded me of the tamagotchi and pet society days on Facebook)

I bought the game a week ago, without having any experience with previous animal crossing games (in fact, I even snubbed them), and I am shocked. It is simply a gem, it does its job perfectly (to relax). It is for all ages from 3 to 93. It is not a game to play for 2 hours and then be done, animal crossing requires patience. However, I have heard that it is not a good game for multiplayer, which is true since the second player is locked on the "leader's" island. That's why, just like me, I bought the game knowing that I will only play it by myself. It is worth every last euro and whoever gets it will be amazed by it 95% of the time...

Okay, what can we say about the game. Over 250 hours and I'm still discovering things about my island. The Switch has many gems and Animal Crossing may be the top game of the console. If someone wants to get it and play for 20 hours straight and finish it, it's better to get another game. ACNH requires patience. A few minutes or a few hours every day. You can't do many things.

For online, you can visit other islands from your friends. Generally, it's not the best, especially if you want to go to someone unknown. But it's okay, it's good but not mandatory.

The pc I built is a waste! I'm still playing animal crossing, paying off my loans to nook! The game still has so much to offer.. After two years, even though I left it for 5 months and "finished" it, along with the expansion, it still captivates you as soon as you open it. And also what others have said. You play it and relax. The best investment in a game I've made. And I own a ps5 and pc. I envy those who haven't played it! Buy it yesterday!

Simply a fantastic game. Graphics, sounds, and overall story progression! I've put over 200 hours into the game and never get bored (as someone who enjoys simulation games). I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful life on a quiet island, away from reality.

I snubbed it. Generally, I snub games of this kind. However, this is an amazing game, thoroughly studied scientifically it seems, in order to achieve its purpose... to make you feel relaxed in your space and to take away all your worries in a fun and enjoyable way. It's worth every last euro.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is essential during quarantine. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and harmonious social simulation game, both with the anthropomorphic animal neighbors and with other players from around the world. The game's content is incredibly vast and promises hundreds of hours of fun.

Especially considering its release date, it is unthinkable for someone who owns a Switch not to have the new Animal Crossing.

Excellent game for all ages. The only thing I don't like is playing simultaneously with someone else. The second player must simply follow the first without being able to do anything on their own. Excellent for single play, but in my opinion, not good at all for multiplayer.

I never expected to get so involved with this game, but it really kept me for 600+ hours. Relaxing and very beautiful, truly a very good SIM game (out of nowhere, because when I first saw it, it didn't attract me).

Very nice and relaxing game with many hours of gameplay and replayability. Recommended for those who enjoy life simulators. Unfortunately, it didn't hold my interest for very long... I played for about 30-40 hours and then quit because it became boring. Of course, I am also responsible for this. This particular genre of games is not to my taste.

Good game but only up to a point. I understand that the game is designed to be relaxing and serve as a way for someone to forget about the world and the difficulties they may face for a while, but at some point it becomes boring. I mean, it's very nice, it has its own style. But as a fan of games like Souls, The Last of Us, Uncharted, Zelda, and basically all the Mario games, Mario Kart, and Mario Party, I found the progression to be very difficult.

Okay, I get it, it's supposed to be realistic and time passes just like in the real world, outside the game world. But come on, I'm not going to spend 200 hours on this game just to unlock the main features, you have to play for at least 50 hours.

Good for grandchildren, children, and nieces/nephews of everyone though! I would recommend it for younger ages who don't care much about what the game has to offer and for more casual and non-gamer individuals.

    3/5 only from a personal perspective, I don't think it's worth 50 euros.

Two months ago I started playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on my PC. I struggled quite a bit because I don't like giving up easily. But then I decided that I won't get sick over any game. I am at an age where we shouldn't stress ourselves too much. So, I bought Animal Crossing. My life changed dramatically. No more anxiety, nerves, swearing, and broken keyboards and mice. I found my literal peace of mind. I water my garden, go fishing, arrange the island and the house, and make transactions in the turnip market. And I sleep peacefully. Take my word for it.

From someone who found this game very casual and "girly" to a passionate fan.
    What made me love it.

    - Good for playing alone (Single Player)
    - Even better if you have company (Multiplayer-Online)
    - From tens to thousands (yes, thousands) of hours of gameplay
    - From simple and relaxed to addictive for a bigger "city", more money, material goods.
    - Real-time and real seasons are everything
    - Seasonal celebrations/events

In conclusion, you feel like living day by day in the world of Animal Crossing, and the possibilities of how you can evolve this island where you reside are endless.

    Also, it's cute as f*ck!
