It is very good value for money and helped me get through this year's summer, the "noise" doesn't personally bother me.
It was purchased for use in a small space, which it indeed cools. The positives are the compact size and the quality construction. However, it is very noisy, I do not recommend it at all for nighttime use. Also, after about a month, the first speed stopped working completely. So, I struggle with using the second and third speed because I really like it as a construction.
It is small and convenient for transportation and placement.

Most of what they say in the comments is true. Quality thick plastic, small size, powerful. In no way is it quiet. If you want it for sleeping without earplugs, the noise is unbearable, it's like a small turbine. The €15 Chinese one I bought from Jumbo lasted 3 years and was much quieter on the first and third settings, making as much noise as this one on the small setting.
Incredibly powerful for its small size and with a sturdy yet beautiful construction. Moderate level of noise on the low setting. Recommended - if you are looking for a fan of this kind and size...
I bought the fan a month ago from a large chain store after doing market research and admittedly being influenced by the good reviews it has.
Indeed, the fan is powerful for its size. You can't expect more from a small-sized fan anyway.
However, as small as it is in size, it is equally noisy, as if you are inside a ship traveling with a constant headache.
I bought it from Media Markt and I am writing this because I still haven't figured it out...
It lasted one day and on the second day, when I tried to lower the speed from 3 to 1, it stopped working. It never worked again, so it only worked for one day! Very bad choice and I have to pay for the return...

Construction plastic thick. Very stable and high quality. From noise on the first step a light breeze almost silent. On the second step you only hear the breeze and only on the third step do you hear it and it doesn't bother. I have it at 3 meters on the first step to gently cool me and I don't even hear it. It's worth it a thousand times in general.
Extremely powerful for its size, personally I use it constantly on the first setting at 2.5 meters.
It is plastic but the construction is sturdy.
In terms of size, compact and lightweight (if someone wants to carry it from room to room, house to house, on vacation, etc.)
The sound doesn't bother me when it's running, it's NOT silent though (there is no silent fan). Anyway, for the past 10 years, I've been sleeping with earplugs so it's not an issue for me.
UPDATE 25/6/2019: Another one was purchased in the summer of 2018 and a third one a few days ago. They all still work wonderfully (especially the ones running 24/7 in the summers).
UPDATE 22/6/2022: And of course, all 3 have been taken down from the attic and are working wonderfully.
UPDATE 15/7/2023: 6 years and all three are working at full capacity without any issues.
UPDATE 10/6/2024: 7th year, absolutely no issues
I have bought 2 of these fans for 2 years now. One of them works day and night for almost the whole summer, without having any issues. Very powerful with the ability to be mounted on the wall. Excellent machine.
