First of all, I have to say that this was another book that kept me great company during my military service. Through the eyes of a 15-year-old, there is a flashback and reference to the history of philosophy.
A book with a beginning, middle, and end.
Personally, I consider it a handbook. It gives you stimuli to continue dealing with the world of philosophy.
The confusion with Hilde was a bit confusing, it could have been made more readable. I got a little lost at some points.
Basically, what I understood is that while the point of becoming a good philosopher is to imagine things, that's how it happened here.
Essentially, the commander was the one pulling the strings, playing the role of fate or God, and Alberto with wisdom as an attempt to escape from it.
But overall, I really liked it.
I gained a lot of information and it definitely made me think, but I also admired figures like Locke, Darwin, Aristotle, and Lamarck.
    I clearly recommend it

    Excellent!
All the world's philosophical thought from the beginning of time until today in a delightful narrative and through the eyes of a little girl. The meanings are so deep that when I finished it, I thought the book in my hands weighed 500 kilograms...

Amazing book, excellent writing, wonderful structure, and amazing presentation of the basic elements of the history of European philosophy and thought in general, in a simple and understandable way. The literary framework in which it is placed is a clever device to maintain the reader's interest, as the lives and thoughts of the heroes are intricately intertwined with the thinking of the most important minds in European history, who laid the foundations of what we now call "European Civilization". One of the books that we must all read at some point in our lives!
