From the first moment, it works for 20-30 minutes and then stops. It restarts after 2-3 hours to present the same problem. The store where it was purchased refers me to Sony, which in turn refers me to AVservice. The cost of transportation and return to this service is higher than the price of the device. In its short operating time, the image/sound quality is mediocre

I relied on the name of Sony and made the purchase. There is no indication of functions, not even to see if it is on or in standby mode. I wonder how Sony released this model and I still wonder how it is being promoted in the market. My money is wasted... zero... if I could, I would bury it. Stay away

For the time it came out and its price, it was perfect. We've had it for almost a decade and it still works like when we first bought it. I am satisfied with this purchase. Now, of course, it doesn't play some new video formats, but it's understandable since those didn't exist when it was first released.

Good DVD, CD player, with HDMI and RCA output for image and sound, coaxial and a USB port on the front.

I chose it for the HDMI digital connection (resolution up to 1920x1080) with the TV, which provides the best image quality compared to older analog scart or rca connections. It plays DVD movies very well and also functions as a CD player since it is connected to an amplifier via rca, but it also has a digital coaxial audio output.

Through the USB port, it can play songs with the mp3 extension as well as movies with the avi and mp4 extensions, with a resolution of 720x576 and a size of up to 2GB.

Its size is very convenient, it fits perfectly under the TV. The power supply is built into the player and not external.

A negative aspect is that it does not have a built-in display screen.

The package includes the remote control and two batteries.

The cost seemed reasonable to me.

The device does not have a screen on top in order to see the current function (e.g. "play", "stop", "eject", "usb").
It is just a black box.
So, in order to see, for example, the chapters of a work or the files of a USB, you will have to open them with the remote control.
It is similar to the menu on a television and it is very inconvenient to navigate from there.

Unacceptable for the menu to not have been upgraded at all since 2006 when I purchased the previous model SONY DVD, unacceptable in 2015 for it to not play .mp4 files, unacceptable for it to play 16:9 avi divX in 4:3 letterbox without giving you the option to play them in full screen. The only thing it plays correctly is DVD Video, something that even 20 euro machines can do. Giving it 1 star is an exaggeration and I only do it because I can't give it 0.
