Specifically, in my vehicle, I did not have a strong problem and I used it as a preventive measure. It does what it promises, probably because it eliminates 15% of the odor that existed.
My objection is regarding the smell. What the product describes as a fresh scent, for me, is a scent that is stronger than necessary.
In another expensive vehicle that I own, when I have it serviced and use such disinfectants, it never smells strongly of a specific scent. So, in this particular product, along with the cleaning it promises and probably does, as it eliminates odors, my issue is with the excessive intensity of this particular smell that lingers in the vehicle for days.
Also, I don't know when it says in the instructions to be very careful not to inhale it, now we are talking about the fifth day inside the vehicle where this smell has not dissipated enough for the cabin to become neutral in terms of odor

I don't think it cleans the air conditioner, especially the switch. However, it definitely deodorizes. I used it out of curiosity, while I have been using similar products in many cars for years. Two weeks ago, I also used this specific product that I had purchased from the corresponding store. What I noticed was that while the first 20 sprays were normal, in spray form, for the next approximately 7, it started to release droplets, even though I followed the instructions for use. I checked the production date and it was 7/16, but it did not mention an expiration date. (I don't know if it was expired)
During the first few days of using the a/c, it had a pleasant smell, but now the cabin smells again as soon as I activate it. In short, it didn't do anything except for the smell.
It should be noted that shortly before reaching my destination, I would turn off the a/c and only use the fan to avoid retaining moisture.
