    Well, for enthusiasts, it's just what you need. Slow cooking meat in the oven with the lid closed and thickly cut vegetables. Such cooking is hard to do with any other utensil. Also, bread!!! Wow, it retains its moisture, forms a good crust, and overall has nothing to do with having it open in the oven and baking it.
    The person who will buy it probably knows what they want. However, if you don't know and you're not familiar with these things, the only thing you need to know is that for slow cooking in the oven and tender meat, cast iron pots are the top utensil.
    This one is also easy to clean because it is enameled, so it will not be destroyed by water like the 'black' bare cast iron ones.
