Description
That part of written communication that concerns hiring, namely reading, has recently been the subject of study from many perspectives: rhetoric, sociology, history, psychoanalysis, and of course psycholinguistics. However, scholars of ancient Greece have emphasized the practice of writing, analyzing its relationship with the evolution of ancient civilization. The present study aims to fill the bibliographic gap, shedding light on the perceptions and practices related to the reading of the first alphabetic script, a reading intended to be performed aloud, as well as their consequences. The author seeks the terms through which the ancient Greeks perceived the writer-reader relationship, associating it with pedophilic or genealogical relationships, in order to formulate a relationship characterized by the equal participation of the two subjects.
