The TeamGroup Elite DDR4 is aimed at demanding computer users, such as gamers, professionals in video and image editing, designers, and those who require high performance from their computer.

DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.

The TeamGroup Elite provides speed at 2666MT/s, with CL19 and 8GB per memory module.

Compatibility

DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Indicatively, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors and the latest Intel processors, as well as AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.

    I have nothing negative to say about this particular product. I bought a pre-built PC and it had such a dim performance. I bought an extra one to run it in dual channel (Ryzen 3 3200g) and the performance almost doubled. However, I would recommend giving an extra ten or twenty bucks and getting one with a higher frequency (at least 3200MHz)!

    It's terrible. The timings, even at 1066 MHz, are mediocre. I tried a bunch of oc profiles but it still remains a mediocre to terrible RAM card. It really isn't worth it.
