I bought it to warm up the neck area and because of its portability. In the highest setting, it warms up the neck area after a while, as long as you press the electric grid on top of it. However, this is not enough because it covers a small area on the back of the neck and you have to press it, for example, on a sofa lying down in order for it to be in contact.
Certainly, there are other electric heating pads that are more efficient and more economical!
