Honest choice for the money! The filter doesn't make much noise, it's a bit tricky to install and remove, but it has a large space for biological material (sponge or noodles not included) and the light is decent (white/blue/red LEDs). I set it up in a children's room with small tropical fish (neon tetra, platies) using an Eheim Thermopreset 50W heater (best value for money) and it's super. It looks very nice with black gravel.

Firstly, it would be preferable to get the white one because if you want to put black gravel it won't show. Secondly, I would like to say that it is a very good aquarium (in terms of price range). The only downside is that you can't put too many fish in it. The filter works fine. Finally, the only negative thing I have experienced so far is that if you use a magnetic glass algae cleaner, it doesn't clean well the curved parts.
