Pioneer's OPEN & SMOOTH sound concept provides a smooth transition between the midrange drivers and the tweeter, offering uniform off-axis frequency response, optimized for car applications where one or more speakers are often aimed away from the listeners' ears. 

The A Series extends flexibility and enhances acoustic performance. The built-in inline crossover network allows for increased installation flexibility without the need for an external unit.
